Brilliant green grass as lush as velvet
Leafy trees as bushy as cotton candy
Waters blue and forest from sky and tree
Colorful bursts of red, pink and yellow buds.
Welcome, needed rains to quench the earth.
Brisk breezes to keep all things cool.
God's blessed gift of relief and awe
